Workshops focus on Fun.
They usually involve an introduction to a particular dance style
and a few basic steps. The number of people that can be
accommodated in a workshop is much larger than a course.
Workshops may also be intensive over a few days to learn much
more.
Courses are much more in-depth with sustained interaction over
time. Though the element of fun is retained, an underlying level
of seriousness is what comes in. A course accommodates fewer
students and many more dances and moves are covered. Courses may
sometimes stretch over months or sometimes be encapsulated to
fit a few days or weeks.
